Mike Shanahan Supports CROP WALK for Hunger

Things to know about this year’s CROP WALK

Start Location

The walk will begin and end at Westview Presbyterian Church, 1500 Hover Road, Longmont.

Walking/Measuring Sticks

Walkers who raise at least $200 AND bring it the day of the walk will get a free walking stick or cap.

Collect money up front

Walkers are encouraged to collect the money up front (instead of pledges) and then bring it with them to the walk.

Raise your funds online

Food Drive

Bring a can of fruit to the Walk for Community Food Share.

Sign your waiver

If you have not collected all of your money by the day of the walk, please bring the top sheet of the envelope to the walk. We need the signed waiver on this sheet from every walker. Please note that minors should also have a guardian’s signature.

Return all Envelopes

All envelopes (used or unused) must be turned back in. This is for auditing purposes. We are held accountable for all envelopes that Church World Service gives us; therefore we’re holding you accountable for any envelopes that we give you.
(Each recruiter needs to collect any envelopes that are not turned in the day of the walk. They will need to be turned in to the treasurer, Burton Lee at 4801 Riverbend Road, Boulder 303-443-7995, as soon as possible after the walk.)

How long is the walk?

Most walkers take between 2 and 2 1/2 hours to complete the 10K (6.2 mi.) walk. There will be a shorter loop for those unable to walk 10 km.

We walk no matter what the weather!
